Holiday Trash & Recycle Update
Posted on Dec 14th, 2023

Below are a few trash/recycling updates from the Town of Zionsville.

For residents receiving trash and recycling services through the Town’s Priority trash contract: During the week of December 26 – 30, 2023 you may place unlimited properly prepared bagged household trash outside of and in addition to the trash can(s) on your regular trash service day. Trash must be broken down and bagged. Bags should be placed on the ground next to your cart(s) and not piled more than two bags high. Reminder: there will be no trash collection on Monday, December 25 due to the holiday and services will be on a one-day delay.

Priority will accept live Christmas trees throughout January as part of the regular weekly trash collection. Any tree 8 feet tall or taller must be cut into four-foot sections (if it’s 8 feet tall, it must be cut in half). On December 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Earth and Turf (5095 W. 106th Street, Zionsville) will also accept live Christmas trees for recycling. Trees must be bare without plastic bags, tinsel, ornaments, decorations, twine, etc.

Happy holidays!
